✅ Eligibility Requirements
Veteran Must
- Have a 70%+ service-connected rating (or rated at 100% with need for daily personal care)
- Need personal care services for at least 6 months
- Have a serious injury incurred or aggravated in the line of duty
- Be enrolled in VA healthcare
Caregiver Must
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be a family member or live with the veteran
- Provide personal care services to the veteran
- Complete VA caregiver training

📝 How to Apply

Complete VA Form 10-10CG — Application for Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers. Both the veteran and caregiver must sign. Available at VA.gov.

Submit online, by mail, or in person at your local VA medical center's Caregiver Support Program office.

VA conducts a clinical assessment to determine the veteran's care needs and the caregiver's ability to provide care.

Complete required training provided by the VA Caregiver Support Team.

If approved: Stipend payments begin, along with access to all PCAFC benefits.
