What Happened Here
Fort Jackson (Columbia, South Carolina) Army basic training installation. Older barracks (pre-1980) contained asbestos in floor tile, pipe insulation, and ceiling materials. Recruit training cohorts billeted in legacy structures had incidental asbestos exposure.
